Hello guys,from toyota to land ROVER

Hi guys and thank you for having me.

I have just done what i should have done £6000 ago and that is move from toyota to the only true 4x4 thats the land rover

BUT i need your help i just sold my surf and have money burning a hole in my pocket but a not sure what landy will suit my needs best thats where you guys ca help.

I am after a go anywhere truck as i plan on travellin up as far as norway amd maybe as far south as maroco so a truck that can handle the cold as much as the desert heat. But on the other hand i will be doing a bit af laning around south wales where i live.

SO is it the toughness of a defender i need or the overland reputaion ( from the peole i have spoke to ) of the discovery i should get and if it is a disco what model.

All your opinions welcome and appreciated but its the facts of capabilities i need

and yes i do know the defender is uncomfortable and LOUD but that can be fixed

its not a "truck" its a landy, there can be only 1 ,if you want comfort go back to a surf uke: ,if you want the best buy a fender

Ye toyota was good but i want a true offroader . Reliable yes fun to own uuuum no. And if if the post was read correctly its not comfort i want its the best all rounder landy. I tell u something though the toyota forum was a lot more friendly but we must not let that spoil the arrival of the wolverine and happy landy owning to my self :-(

FFS don't go deep sea fishing for cod in a fender or disco, it'll rot before yer eyes!
