Hi All,
Another Newbee to forums.. Guess my joining this forum was summed up by my partner's comment when I told her... "Oh F*&K how much is that going to cost us
"
On my third Landy but first proper one a 110 Station Wagon, presently pretty much a standard Td5... Last 2 where Disco's...
Usage, sadly at moment main use is running around or towing 1700kg of caravan around.
Do venture down the odd green lane (when we can find them, any help?), and would like to do some simple Pay and Play. Very aware tires need upgrading to do any more...
Mods Being considered:
1) Tires? OMG what a choice? Present all terrains are down to about 3mm and need replacing before the winter...
Would go for BFG A/T's (like I put on my disco) but that stone click when they pick up little stones URG! Would BFG MTKM2 be any better?
2) Diesel Heater (Warm car in the cold winter mornings), what cost where from?
3) Winch,
4) Roof Tent (partners Idea),
5) Snorkel? Not certain on this one as I have no intention of getting my seats wet and intake is high enough as it is?
I will spend my time and search the forums before directly asking about the above but if any one happensto have links or ideas to hand comments and PM's well received.
All advice ideas for days out etc appreciated..
