Hi, got myself a freelander 1 TD4 auto last year as my daily driver and to deal with the snow and ice over the winter.
found this forum while googling issues with the car (it’s a Land Rover. They always have problems right?) and thought I would sign up.
no doubt I will be posting asking for help in the future haha. (After searching the forums first of course)
so far my “cheap car” has had 4 new tyres, oil, oil filter, air filter, breather filter, cabin filter, front brake discs and brake pads and a new MAF.
Still to fix are the handbrake, the thermostat (I think it’s stuck open, The temp gauge never gets over a quarter), the parking sensors and the speakers (only one works). Think I’m going to wait for the weather to warm up a bit before doing any more!
