Just wanted to say hello from Norway having joined the Landyzone forum today. First Land Rover was a Series 2A from 1966 which I totally rebuilt, and after that a Lightweight S3, Defender 110, Defender 90, Defender 110, Freelander 1, Discovery 2, and since 2011 a Discovery 3.

Wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year!

haha well actually I'm Dutch but living in Norway, hence 'Dutchviking'. Once heard the "true" story (from a cab driver, hence must be true) why vikings tend to be blond... when they approached the shores of Holland with their ships the Dutch would erect enormous bonfires on the beaches making the Vikings think they were welcomed. When coming ashore the Dutch would then attack, and "take care" of the Viking ladies that tend to be on board. The Dutch, being blond in hair this way actually spread "the Dutch" blond up North! 😇
