Hello from across the pond

I have a 1996 4.0 Discovery. Have owned it almost 6 years. Still learning the complexities of Rover maintenance, but I have experience with lots of other types of vehicles.

There are several problems I am experiencing right now, mostly electrical I believe. I could use a bit of advice, and the only "help" I am able to get at some other forums is "take it to the dealer".

I would much rather have an understanding of my vehicle than have to take it to a shop every time some little thing goes wrong, but I'm sure you all know what I mean.
