Hello from a newbie

Hello All

My Azuka Ihonor and I live in Dagenham essex. I have just inherited a P38 Autobiography from my neighbor (FOC). I suppose that doesn't hurt.

I am still getting to know the car and it appears to have way too much electronic intelligence for its age (1998 model).

At the moment I have just purchased some upgrade rear lights to replace the yellow ones that makes the car look its age.

Would anyone advice on how I get the old ones out. Also I am assuming the wiring should still be the same. I am assuming I will just purchase yellow bulbs for the indicators.

Oh I forgot, the central locking system has suddenly stopped working, I see a book with an esclamation mark on the tempreture lcd and the alarm goes off all the time.

I need help with the car as I have already fallen in love with it despite its existing faults.

Can anyone recommend a decent mechanic in the East London area as I am not prepared to pay dealer labour charges.

As Sean says and buy a Defender or if you must a Disco. But not a Freelander never a Freelander

Thanks for your replies. Not sure if I really want to get rid of it just yet. I'll see how it goes. I really hope it wouldn't get to the point when I will say "If only I listened to the advises"
