Hello to Everyone.

This is my first time so i am a virgin at this. I have a landrover Discovery 93 Reg K Plate and am requiring some assitance regarding my Radio Code if anyone can help or point me in the right direction.

My problem is this. Mt battery went flat and probably like a lot of people have done in the past i input the wrong code number. I tried all the usual techniques of holding down the band button for 3 seconds etc, disconnected the battery for an hour. What i now have is the word security across the display board, which no matter what i do will not go away. Someone has mentioned that i need to have my radio recoded is this the case or does anyone know how i can overide this and input my code. My journeys are long and tedious without music.

Welcome to the forum chap, your keen 3 posts on the same subject, dont tell me youve been tipped off the cops are comeing round at the weekend to question you about stolen radios

I think the only way round that one is a visit to your local stealer, they should be able to give you the code for a small fee.

Thanks for the advice, I spoke to a lad ot far from me and he suggested i just leave the ignition key in the auxillary position for a few hours and that should clear it. I done what he said and guess what, yep it worked and i know have music again.

If anyone else ever has this problem just pass on the info.
