Hello Everyone

Hello everyone. I'm James and am a 28yr old decorator.
I have never signed up to Landrover community before, but after having had a look around, this looks like the place to be.

I currently own a Rioja Red Defender 90 300tdi CSW(pictured). I have had it 6 years now and had a view to strip it out and put in a complete new interior and get it re-sprayed with a gloss black roof, arches and perhaps bonnet.

I was lucky enough to have a defender as my company van at the age of 22, and then bought it off the firm. So this Defender is my first love and will be sorry to see her go.

I had a new power steering box fitted 6 years ago, and a few months ago had a brand new cam belt, powersteering belt, powersteering pump. Has also had a new rear crossmember, new right wing and new drivers footwell last year.

But now have decided to sell it as I have always fancied a soft top.

Hopefully I will be able to get some sound advice on selling this one and buying my next. I have never sold a car before as three teens in grey hoodies relieved me of my last car a couple years ago

Yeah, I thought about converting it a couple of years ago, but I do not have anywhere to work on it, so it all has to be done on the road which a a pain. Also I have a bad habit of starting projects and not finishing them, and taking things apart and losing pieces. All the work that has been done so far was by garages.
