So I'm new not just to this forum but to the land rover scene! I'm making an attempt to purchase a 90 300tdi van back after multiple family friends have purchased defenders, defenders and more defenders after nothing but great experience. I've just given up on modern cars after my 2008 Volvo's engine gave up after 61,000 miles and expensive repairs involving what I can only assume is the star-ship enterprise' flight computer. My experience so far with this forum has been great and I can tell its going to be plain sailing.
As far as experience goes I have 4 years background in crash damage repair and servicing on cars and am also on a course to get my EASA Aircraft engineering licence so have quite a bit of experience in mechanics/manufacture and also access to a machine shop, welders etc should I need it!
