Hello - and Yellow Engine Manafement Warning Light Issue

I have just signed up for the Forum having bought a 2014 Defender 90 last week with 7,500 miles on the clock.

All is good except I have a had a two spates of the yellow engine management warning light staying on after start up.

The Land Rover Assistance (the AA I think) people suggested switching off and leaving a few minutes before starting again. It happened last Friday evening and again today. On both Friday and today I tried the same cycle of switching off for some minutes (between 2 and 5 minutes) and then restarting later several times before it righted itself.

I need to get the problem looked at by the main dealer, but is it a known issue?

Take it back and get dealer to fix it under warranty for free.
It.could be anything and until codes read it is guesswork.

Take it straight back its easily under warranty so don't even worry about it...

As already said take it back.
There's so many things it could be...
It is also possible main dealers may not find the fault especially if it's Intermittent. Sods law dictates it'll be fine all the time they have it and I'll bet good money unless it lights up when hooked up the diagnostics will say all is well.

Don't be fobbed off. It will NOT fix itself. It will get worse.
