New to this forum but looked at it many times for problem solving!
Getting my Disco 2 through the MOT and in for the retest in a couple of hours, only failed on a bit of rust at the back!
All welded up now so should be ok for a year or two more! Fingered crossed.
But... I have a new oil leak!
I looked at previous threads on this and can't see an answer I was hoping for, as it "don't worry that's a ten minute job!!"
The leak is from I think the oil cooler housing, turbo pipes dry, head looks ok. Coolant clear as a bell. (Just drained it to change a hose fitting). But steady drip of oil below filters.
Both filters changed today as part of service, thought it was top spiny filter thing but still leaking after new seals and nipped up as tight as I dare.
So question is.... Is it a total pain to get to oil cooler housing?
