My Handle is Harddrive , I am a computer Nerd for local authority and I have a rep for destroying rep mobiles so....... .......I have bought myself a Disco, my 7th 4x4 after 3 Fronteras ( good hi speed tow cars) a suzuki SJ410 ( rusted to oblivion in 4 years ) a Suzuki jimny ( Yawn ) and a 4Litre Cherokee ( can a fuel gauge really out accelerate the car) so now I have a 200tdi with a gold seal engine and 159,000 on the clock . The reverse gear position is next to first ( unlike on the gear Knob ) does this mean I have a 300tdi box? the only faults I have so far are a slight whine in 5th (not in any other gear) no reverse lights ( probably a wire off the box) and no intermitant wipers ( a complete pain in the present weather) so so far ( touching a hunk of wood ) not to bad.

how the hell can anyone buy THREE fronteras?
id be disappointed if i found one.

Simple really I am a caravaner and I am sorry but not much pulls a van like a 3.2 V6 Fronty Auto. About 80 mph for hour after hour ( on French Motorways) . But it took three attempts to find the right one eg a 2.4i a 2.2 dti and then the V6 and on the road they are more stable than the Disco , But off road or on a muddy field Absolute C**P

Actually, to be fair the fronties are ok, if you get the right one.

1 was a write off, 1 was nicked and the 3rd one blew up

Sod off, that was only 2 cars, and they were a disco and a shogun.
