Hi All,
I have an 88" SIII which due to some neglect on my part is now in need of a new chassis.
Initially I was going to bebuild onto a new galvanised chassis and replace the worn rear springs with parabolics, with an option of an engine swap for a 200Tdi.
I now have a opportuinity to accquire the axles from a discovery and wanted to ask if anyone has seen such a hybrid build, if so how where the mods for the coil suspension made and will the existing SIII transmission marry up with the axles.
Ultimately I'm looking to rebuild the vehicle in such a way that I retain the original Reg No.
Thanks
