Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeelp

Hi everybody and Merry Christmas ,I`ve got a big problem with my freelander`s gear box , I`ve driven around with TC led on and Ramp led on and today I`ve heard a crank and I couldn`t drive in reverse any more only forward. If any body can tell me about a reasonable mechanic around Birmingham I`ll be really grateful or how can I found a spare gear box (not that expensive )? Any help is welcome!!!

I can put you on to the guy who changed my gearbox but he's in Tamworth (15 mile north of Birmingham) and obviously won't get anything done till mid next week.

Thank`s, quite far but gear box is a 5 manual disel engine 2.0.
