Hi guys

I'm quite new to this Range Rover lark having only owned my Classic for a few months and only driven it a few times (while sold existing car).

My problem (or maybe just a query) is that power steering feels heavy compared to other cars I've driven, now this maybe because the Classic is bigger than normal cars I've had but it definietly feels a bit odd. Apparently the power steering belts were changed recently and the sytem bled so I guess it's working ok, it did have a new steering box not long ago, could this be settling in?

The other issue is that when I'm turning on full lock there is a grinding noise bit like the wheels are rubbing inside the wheel arch, it only happens on full lock and easing off stops the noise. The wheels and tyres are standard not oversized so I'm not sure why it should rub (if indeed this is what is happening).

Hope some of you may have a few ideas.

Any thanks for looking

Cheers

Dr W
