Depends why you want it. It appears clutches don't last that long on the TD4, so something longer lasting is attractive.You'd bust a gearbox, IRD,VCU before you'd get anywhere near needing a heavy duty clutch on the FL..
my current one has done **103,000 miles .. feels as good as the day after it were replaced ..

My idea of offroad is pulling trailers across my land, not spending myself clean on massive tyres and lifts to only drive over some grassy lumps

A standard FL1 is more than capable on a lot of terrain. But lack of low means the clutch can take a pounding. Heavy trailers can make it slip more than you'd want to when manoeuvring.
LUK clutch has failed on me after 10,000 miles and a trip to Avalanche and Billing.
Ah, so the clutch could be of questionable quality then.
