The fan's gone on mine - anyone either got a blower or the whole lot going for not too many beer tokens? It's just the fan that's gone - it's 1990 but i think they all fit.

Snap!! Although the heater element works ok, sometimes the fan randomly works, but most of the tims it doesnt.

Fingers crossed this is just a connectivity issue, although ive yet to look into it further.

Haha, is the heater box fairly simple to open up and tinker with, or do you think i'd be better off with just a straight swap.

Dunno (coz i have same problem!) I reckon the spindle might just need loostening and some oil but i haven't had a look - maybe that should be my first port of call! It squeaked for about 3 months before properly going kaput (now blows the fuse if you switch it on but clearly isnt turning any more!)

Had my box out a while ago it's a bit tight to remove it and motor comes straight out. If you need to replace element then you have to drill the pop rivets out and the re-rivit. Was about a three to four hour job to overhaul the entire unit and refill the water system. If element is not leaking it still helps to five it a good blast with an cold air gun to get all the **** out of it. Made the landy smell a bit better after I got 1 1/2 inch of shot out the bottom of the box as well
