heater problems HELP

Hi Guy's need some help I have a p38 1998 4.0 ltr, my heater has stopped puting out heat i works then stops then works again. checked the water all ok its just had a brand new rad fitted about 3 months ago all's been great up to now and now all of a sudden I've got no heat. Has any body got any ideas as to what it could be, there is no leaks any where none in the cabin and not of any of the hoses so its a puzzel to me. any answers would be helpfull.

Silly question what are the blend motors ? are we talking about the fan !. As thats blowing ok plenty power coming from that.

The blend motors are what converts you pressing a button on the front of the unit into a change of temperature or air direction.

there ok had a look at them all work ok so I'll think i try runing the car and see if theres an air lock. Many Thanks Guy's Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year.

Is the engine coming up to proper temp on the guage? If so try giving it a burp by letting the air out of the heater intake line that sits at the top most of the cooling system. It is the tube that has a removable plug on it. When I replaced my radiator it took 3 times to get all the air out.

I dont think you understood that its not a button on you hevc controls its this Land Rover Range Rover P38a Heater Blend Motor | eBay its behind the dash you cant see it from the front you have to dissemble some of your dash to get at it (depending on what side your problem is)

You must follow the refilling procedure in Rave by ensuring the return bleed pipe is clear of water before filling! Fill slowly and air is expelled through this pipe.

Hi Guy's just done a bleed on the water system plenty air in the system and the heater is working ok now look like an air lock while i was on i gave the matrix a fulsh out got some crap out but not much. Pleanty heat coming out now. Thanks for all your help just have too keep an eye on it and see if theres any more problems.
