Has anyone got a heater or heater motor spare, cos i was wadeing the weekend and mine has seized. Tried wd40 and it turns but is too stiff. I dont realy want to pay 70 squids for a new one.

You can get them off flea bay, i got good un for 30 quid and drilled small hole in bottom of fan housin to allow water out to stop it seizing

I was under the impression that all the heater boxes were the same on defenders, possibly just the wiring connection different dependent on year, but i do stand to be corrected if wrong

So does that mean all the motors would be the same, if so ill get one for 35 squids off fleabay.

looks like im sorted now gonna pick up a motor tommorow of a local guy. That and an alternator 30 Squids.
