Can anyone advise me on how to diagnose and fix a problem with my drivers side heated seat, not working? Works on passenger side, therefore not fuse. I'm assuming it must be switch, cables or elements.
Any advice on how to figure out what's wrong and fix?
Thanks!

I have exactly the same problem on my 110 csw. Can see it being an expensive fix through the dealer...

try r/h seat plug see if it hasn't been dislodge also see if 12 volt present with volt meter if it is present wiring ok to seat connector confirm element wires are attached to plug and are not broken if ok compare resistance of L/h seat resistance should be around same value if not element or lead to element or built in temp sensor suspect

I tried swithcing the seats over, in case element was damaged. No damage. tested with a multimeter, and r/h seat is not receiving power. I'm not sure if there are seperate fuses for each side, will have to look

is the indicator light on the r/h switch lighting ,the two swiches are fed from F33 the link could have detached from l/h switch try tracing back from r/h switch should have feed on light green and white wire

Indicator light comes on, on the switch, but no voltage to the plug under the seat...
I had a cold bum all throught the snowy weather, missus was toasty. not fair

under the seat base, its a small black plug. there's also a plug going into the seat back.
