Heated seat problem

Evening all,

Have recently discovered my passenger side heated seat has stopped working. Not overly worried, but the other half would like it to work. Especially as mine works!

Light comes on on switch, but where should I start?

Have done a search, but to no avail.

get a continuity tester and test the seat filiment, as the light comes on there must be power going to it

Funny, the passenger side is the one that works on mine. The other hald gets the heat and I freeze with no heater

if you can not buy a meter here is a way to check it get a bulb and put a earth around its base and ground the earth then put a live feed to one of the leads for the heater unit and then the other lead from the heater unit put onto the live feed of the buld if it deos not light then there is a problem with the heater element

I've got a multi meter so I'll test the seat filament. I'm guessing the wiring is self evident under the seat. Trouble is it's too dark to have a look by the time I get home from work and too dark in the morning...
