Heated rear window.

Some help please. I went to test the wiring from my heated rear window switch to the wiring at the rear door.

Out of the switch the wires are White and White with a green tracer:



The only free wires at the rear are a black (earth I guess) and white and black. These correspond to the wiring on the heated rear window wires.

Am I going mad or should the colour wires from the switch be different at the rear???



I can get power at the switch but nothing at the rear, so I am questioning if everything is connected properly, but can’t see where else to connect anything.

As you can tell I am no auto sparky and ran out of time before I could check the fuse.

Just wondering if I am connecting the wires incorrectly, if not what else should I check.

I have power for the wiper motor.

if the earth is good after you check the fuse check the connections on the fuse holder, however good luck
