Hello All,

I have done the usual search for this type of fault on the forum, but nothing is coming up quite like this.

Basically everything works, almost lol, the heated rear window as you can see from the picture works (a little bit) It seems odd that all the other strands in the window would of broken together, and nothing has been inside the car big enough to it the window.

Is this a common fault and its a case of painting the strands with that silver conductive paint, or am I really looking towards a replacement window.

I have recently done my back window with silver paste. Get a magnifying glass and search for small scratches where the issues are. When I did my actuator for the rear door I notice my connectors to the heating element was bad or not connected at all. Silver paste maybe a cheap option as long as you are careful also make up your own slit cards and tape up with sellotape.

Thanks for the tip, i am going to check the connectors first, as it turns out that after a while the window does clear and all elements work, its just the one in the picture works a whole lot more efficient for some reason
