heated front screen

hello

can anyone tell me if the bits are in place to fit the heated front screen??

its an 54 plate 3door the screen has gone so was thinking of dropping the heated one in, dont mind if i need to get bits if someone can tell me what i will need

Down load a copy of RAVE it should have the wiring diagram for the screen and you can then check if the wires are already in place (in the origonal wiring loom )

They are present on Discovery 2's. 2x wires each side with a plastic connector.

I don't know what the screen connectors or lengths of wires are, but you could fabricate your own loom. (Will be very similar to Heated Rear Window).

This would be an excellent MOD as the screens do mist up and some freeze on the inside.

With a 1.8K I dont have to wait long for screen to clear

cheers for that might have a go at it as heated screens on ebay £85 not bad

will do, hopefully it may be just the case of getting a short loom to the fuse box

will let you know how it goes

Hi, there are two fuses under the bonnet in a small black fuse holder (right hand side) listed as left and right, you should be able to see if the wires are fed to where the fuse blades sit. You will also have to fit a relay and the on/off switch.
Check your hand book for further info and locations.
