Can you run a 1.8 Freelander without its exhaust manifold heat shield. Because i accidental broke mine:doh: and back orders are about 2 weeks.
Looking at the manifold yes it gets hot but it shouldn't melt anything especially when you get cold air rushing in from the front of vehicle.
So does anyone have experience of this problem or is it a definite no no,
