I've got 3 P38s, all of them have a sagging headliner. I'm based in Haslemere. Does anyone know anyone who would come to me and repair all three?

There's a couple of teams that do that, fully mobile. A Google search should bring them up? They advertise on Facebook p38 pages.

I spoke with several about a Freelander headlining earlier this week, but most of them avoid doing headlinings if possible. One said £400 and that's with me delivering it already out of the car.

P38 is much easier than many cars because there's no huge dips in them. As above get the material & glue from Martrim and DIY. Take your time cleaning the old crap off & sand the board thoroughly. Laying the new material is easier with two people. My wife & me did my P38 on the patio table on a nice a dry day.

Before you start, watch lots of YouTube videos to see how to do it.

I doubt anyone would want to do that on your drive, the car would have to go to a specialist. Most DIY with a kit

View attachment 339095Unfortunately I just don't have the time which is why I'm happy to pay someone to do it. I have found people in Wales, Norfolk and Somerset who will do it for around £250 but it's difficult to get 3 cars to them. I'm happy to take the cars to someone if they are fairly local to me.

I assume the Somerset one is Jason at Blackbrook, he did mine and it was a brilliant job, top guy. You just need to take 3 holidays down there, he took just over an hour to do mine.
Same here, he did mine and a top bloke he is! Really smashing. Took us back from his place into town where we visited the museum of Somerset while he did the job, then when we got a taxi back to him he was "why didn't you call? I would have come and got you." Really lovely bloke, cannot recommend him enough.
