As mentioned in another thread I've got a headlamp full beam issue I've been ignoring.

Have the standard head lights and two grill mounted aftermarket head lamps that only come on when on full beam.

Basically all lights work on low beam. On full beam the standard left hand head lamp turns off but the grill mounted left hand light, which is spliced off the left hand standard lamp comes on as it should.

I've changed the bulb and thats made no difference. Will check the plug at the back of the lamp in due course.

Any other suggestions?

I would think you have an poor earth on the headlight that's going off. When you're putting the full beam on the higher draw to the other lights is offering an easier route for the current than through the higher resistance of the poor earth on the left hand headlight. That's just my best guess though!

yeh that’s not a bad shout. I’ll disconnect the ‘after market head lamps’ and see. Honestly the wiring in the human heart is less complicated than the 30yrs of spaghetti junction bodges currently under the wing.
