headlight earth problem

Hi all. got a problem with my headlights. Will only occasionally go onto dipped and when it does and you go for heads they go dim again? Side repeater glows on and gets brighter on main. This is on the drivers side if that makes a difference. Sounds like a earthing problem to me. My question is where do the lights earth to? there are two cables bolted to the bulkhead and i've tried playing with these. I've done a few searches but cant seem to work it out. P.S my electrical knowledge is naff. Gotta drive in the dark next three days and ne light just aint enough.

Thhere Is A Earth Connection Behind Each Set Of Front Lights You Will Have To Take Out The Lights To See It. Clean Em Up Give It A Go..

While You Are There Also Clean Up The Head Light Connectors.

Dont Undo The Adjustment Screws........ Only The Screws Holding The Unit In Place.............
