Headlight conversion?

Im on the hunt for a Disco, and ive found a series 1 200 tdi with 75k on the clock, absolutely mint.
Anyway, is it easy to do a conversion from the 200 lights and grill to a 300 lights and grill? I like the front of the 300's better and if i go for this 200 i wanna upgrade the lights.

I have seen it done. Not by myself bit it is possible! I think that all parts will swap without adjustment! you can even do the back end too!

Have a look at the simmonites web site they sell a kit for 221.76 plus vat.
includes cutting template, 300 grill, replacement headlights with finisher and clear indicators. they also mention that this is a EASY diy job. failing that raid your nearest breakers and have a go yourself. like chrisjd said you can also do the back end, they have kits for this to. its all down to how much you wana spend.

the hardest part is the back plates, you need a template. the best way of getting one is to borrow a friends 300 tdi and take the headlights out(i did this). you can source the parts from ebay but all you need is headlights, indicators, grille and eyebrows that fit under the headlights.i hope this heps
