L322 Hdc , DSC And air suspension inactive

Hello there , our l322 is displaying all in the above title

Had the car plugged in and it said (CAN BUS ERROR , EXHAUST PORT , EXHAUST PORT AGAIN)

We replaced the compressor and a new battery , we are also fitting new track rod ends and steering.

Still this has resulted in no change what so ever to the fault codes.

And help would be appreciated.

Did you clear all the codes ?? After replacing the compressor.
It's in a hard fault state so unless they are cleared not just read it won't reset and work again until you do.

Haven't had the codes cleared but I did leave the battery off to do a hard reset. Still nothing

Leaving the battery off will not clear hard fault codes.

That's fair , having the car plugged in tomorrow, hopefully this sorts the issues.

Apart from the air conditioning there is very little wrong with this l322 and I do hope to get the car back to show room condition.

Don't forget to do the lock to lock after the battery reconnect.
If you are keeping it, you really need to invest in diagnostics.

Oh we are definitely keeping it, our 2002 discovery 2 got destroyed when someone decided to drive into us on a country road, the insurance money bought us this.

no, just stuck the new battery in and it started straight away, ( I forgot to mention the battery died yesterday)

Always charge a new battery before putting it on, it may have sat for months on the shelf and the car alternator will not fully charge a battery.

And it can still throw errors like hdc inactive even if there's enough power to start easily

It's irritating that something so simple can cause an air suspension fault

Just low voltage shouldn't give a hard fault though and should clear itself at next engine start, assuming sufficient voltage
