Hello
I am trying to programme an old discovery key with the hawkeye pro diagnostic, with no luck, when I enter the code it says " There are 5 plips already programmed" and doesn't give me any options of what to do next . Has anyone any experience of programming a key ? Thanks in advance

send omitec an email , they are very helpful

So Omitec can't help as they don't have a live car to simulate the problem I am having on,though they were very good with contacting me back - still waiting on Bearmach for any help though ,as the car has now completely immobolised itself ?! I just need to workout how to delete the key plips it thinks it has - when it hasn't !
I've tried the process on another disco 2 and it recognises its 3 keys present and when I try to delete one by not plipping it it doesn't delete and the key still works ? I'm really at a loss now !
Considering a nanocom ...

Sadly, until you switch the immobiliser off no code reader will be able to communicate with the vehicle. Without a working key fob the only way into the vehicle now is with the EKA, the Emergency Key Access code.
You should be able to get that from any LR main dealer on production of proof of ownership and of course a working key blade to go in the driver's door lock.

wasnt there something about a maximum amount of times the main ecu will accept another key code

so had to replace the ecu

can't remember where it was on here ???

sorry know that's not much help
