Has anyone had their rear main seal come loose in the flywheel housing?

Just pulled the tdi out of my series 2 to investigate oil leak to find the seal can be moved in the housing!

New seal fitted with some good old loctite, see how long this one lasts.

Nope oe dowty both times, over the years I have read lots of posts where people had issues with the cheapie ones, so thought you aint getting me and fitted the real deal and it packed up:rolleyes:
Time will tell Im sure, I dont mind doing it but its quite a bit of work for a cheap part.

Update all back in a road tested and dry so far!
I can confirm that a tdi series will go off the clock with a speedo for 6.00 tyres and std diffs, my one has 3.5 diffs and 7.50 tyres so it can move:D
