So my new to me L322 seems to have a harsh ride compared to my previous car, both are 2004 TD6 cars, I’ve swapped the wheels over to my new car so both were running the same wheels.
I read it could be a compressor issue and as the suspension took a little to long to raise I decided to swap it with the compressor from my other car that I had recently replaced the piston ring on and it had worked well.
That done, suspension raises quickly but ride is still harsh.
Any thoughts? I still have my old car so can swap any parts that I need to if it’s likely to fix the issue

No leaks or fault codes. Suspension stays up and appears to work as it should. Just seems a harsh ride especially at speed. Not so noticeable at slower speeds.
How do you test the dampers? I guess it’s not like the old days where you could bounce on the car and tell if it bounces repeatedly

Hmm hadn’t thought about the poly bushes I’ll check tomorrow, tempted to swap my old dampers, I prefer the smoother ride so might be worth a try, I imagine they aren’t difficult to remove/refit? Especially if I just do the rears, can they be tested once they are off?
