Looking for advice folks just put new clutch on my freelander 1.8 petrol and it is difficult to go into gear when running. Can any one give me asvice on possible fault?

Lubricate the clutch release arm with lots of WD40 or 3 in 1
Check the slave cyl mounting bracket for being bent or cracks
The above can lead to master / slave hydraulics going pop and stranding you
Plenty of threads about this if you have a search around ....
