had the cable plugged in and car running but would not sync still getting b9 28 b9 28 and a9 28 and a few others no ffs anywhere then done this when i switched off

i never done anything gav? it done it when i switched the engine off?
still got eas fault on dash all lights in the middle and the car with arrow on dash and none of the buttons work.
so i dont know

by the look of it, its either a valve on the air sus block thats stuck open or more likely, the eas has got confused!!

ideally need the air sus plugging in and working but obviously you got issues with it!!!

its a strange one!

if i actually managed to get this software to work it might help eh just wont work gonna phone the guy in the morning i got it from see what he says just cant get anything with it

have you any means of testing voltage output from the alterator?

strange things can happen if the alternator plays up, its unlikely as it was running etc before but its another part we can eliminate!

i wonder, do you have wifi? if so, and you have lappy outside connected to car (and leccy mains) maybe i could connect to your lappy from here and see if i can do anything???

i'll have to research it a little as its been eons since ive done it, and it was on windows xp.

unfortunately your 5 1/2 hours away so poping round isnt an option, maybe over t'internet is next best thing????

i know its killing me my head and brain are totally fried!!
and yes i have laptop and a good wifi router so thats how have been doing it out front its a pretty new one so running vista now not xp
but im at the stage now i need outside help probably if there was someone on here with know how i would give them what i could for help

maybe i should try an oil change and filter in the morning as long as it wont drop down when im under it!!

well, ive just tested between my desktop and lappy and remote helper works!!!

if you want to go down that route we can, i can explain or better still give you the link: Remote Assistance - Vista Forums

then if you follow the instructions to save the file to your desktop then send it in email to me, i can connect and then we can have a look at the eas stuff!!!

yes on vista mate, it sounds tricky but its not if you can get yer head round it, basically start the remote assistant thingy, save the file to a location on yer pc, obviously provide it with a password you can remember, and email it over, then when i connect, allow access etc. should be straight forward!!
