Handbrake.....Part needed

Hi all,

Decided to start on the restoration of my series 3 diesel today, engine needs new pistons Quite funny really took breather pipe off and stuck it straight up in the air, looked like a steam rover....

Gearbox needs new handbrake oil seal as handbrake drum awash in oil, with buggered pads etc.....

BUT the part I need is the bracket at the end of the expander rod, that attaches to the handbrake swivel link, mine has broken.... cant find one on the web anywhere, so has anyone got one laying about they can sell to me???




For the rest of the looooooong list I need i guess paddocks is one of the best???

Paddocks are hard to beat.
For hard to find bits try www.planetlandrover.co.uk they are normally breaking a couple of series, or the landrover orphanage.
Good to take some pictures as you strip it down, makes putting it back together much easier.

the landrover orphanage are good for thoes litte things that are a nightmere to get hold off

It might be worth having a look on OLLR (old leafsprung Land Rovers)forum. One of the members on there runs a breakers called The Land Rover Dogs Home.
