hi folks just thought I would let you know as a lot have cb radios as well as us with ham radios is a Radio Rally and the Newark showground .I will be going on the Saturday. as I have other business on, on Friday

just wondering when this show was on . Also i heard from duncan s you are the man for an aerial mount on the freelander i was wondering if i could collect one from you as i only live in cheadle it would probably be next week as i go away on thurs for a few days . it says starting bid £15 is there a buy it now price .

A b it off the subject Teddywood but can you explain the new rules on CBs? I understand, though I may be wrong that we can now get a different type of CB that is more powerful and more on the lines of the American type rigs.

times have changed the new CB,s now have ssb and am the power out put I believe is the same 4 watts I have not handled a cb for years as my hobby is ham radio but I do some work for the RSGB

Wow they certainly have changed since I used to sell them in the 80's!
I would assume that's on AM now then - can't imagine how SSB on FM would work :eek:
