Hi, I have a 1988 110 I have fitted some new Drive Flanges to it. Have not been able to put the serclips back on though as there is not enough of the halfshaft showing and i have not been able to pull them out. Is the only solution to take everything off and start again?

If you put a bolt in the middle and pull are you SURE it won't come off? (They thread the end of the HS for fitting the circlip).

How much are you short by? Did you tighten the bearings up properly (up to contact and beyond to drive them home then back a smidge) you might find you just need to put the hub on a bit further.

I have tried putting a bolt in and pulling it and it wont budge its short by 3-4mm. Im pretty sure that i did tighten the bolts correctly.

slacken off the drive flange again and try a bolt in the middle again and pull , as the new flange may of just pinched the half shaft splines ( did this to me the other day when I did my hubs ) .

I've had the same problem doing my cv. Undo all the drive member bolts and seperate from the hub slightly, put a bolt in the cv joint shaft and hold with pulling presssure whilst tightening the drive member bolts. This should give you enough to put the circlip on.
