Hi I'm going to change the oil and filter in the haldex drive coupling and was wondering if anyone has used the oil / fluid listed as for Volvo's instead of the one listed for land rovers as the volvo fluid/oil is so much cheaper and if so have they had any problems

Volvo fluid and filter is correct and better priced

Did mine recently using Volvo parts, it's not so difficult I drained the unit with a syringe, disconnected the prop shaft (take off the prop shaft bearing cross member) took out the whole haldex unit and cleaned up everything, make sure the strainer in front of the pump is cleaned, then 're build, be sure to follow the filling procedure it sounds complex but it's not too difficult.
