gutless 2.0 l series

the wifes freelander 1 (fifi) l series 2.0 is a bit gutless on acceleration...
it wasnt when we got her just came on
im useless with electronics but good at spannering
any ideas please ....

Start with a full service including all filters?
Injector cleaner in diesel?
Check cable adjustment to go pedal?
That will keep your spanners shiny!

then add a synergy VP - brings the L series back to life

Whats a synergy VP?? Is it worth getting for my L series? (Nothing wrong with mine mind.... Just curious to what it is?)

that was the first thing i tried but it made no difference
im thinking maybe elec as i tried the turbo hoses too

A tuning chip for the L series freelander.

fitted one to my old L series freelander it gave it a lease of life and it was no longer a sluggish car. feels like a turbo has been added to the engine - would recommend getting one 100%

ebay occasionally have some on there - i sold my one on there last year.

**** easy to fit - takes 15 mins. they come with good instructions anyway.
