Hullo all ! I thought I'd try a forum as have an ongoing issue (don't I always ) with my discovery td5 es auto. I'm hoping someone will be able to shed some light on it
Ok.... It keeps loosing power, could be at any time but more annoying on the motor way. When I press the accelerator pedal, nothing happens and then it surges as if all of a sudden goes into gear. I've recently tried taking it out of gear, revving it and then putting it back in drive. This seems to work. I'm not mechanically minded so I wouldn't have a clue what I was talking about but... would the clutch loose pressure somehow?
Anyway, mainly hi! And hope to post so wonderfully exiting pics of my car soon .oh its an 04 plate if that us if any help.
Karly ;-)

Welcome to the forum for starters:D

You'll probably get a better response posting in the discovery section than on here but just a heads up that automatics don't have clutches but they have a torque converter instead. When was the last time the transmission fluid was changed or have you at least checked its level on the dipstick?
