Hi, I am new to the forum but have just re-entered the world of Land Rover ownership with a 2004 Discovery 2. As a student I had a Series 3 and an ex-Army 110 but then desired speed over fun for a few years. Marriage and kids precluded any chance of owning another Land Rover...until now!Later this year, I'm moving to the Falklands for a few years and thankfully Land Rovers are essential to the way of life down there and my Mrs agreed to us getting a Discovery.I thought I'd join the forum to join in the banter, make some contacts for some green-laning and also get advice for any work I need to do on it. Since I collected it on Wednesday, I've already had a headlight cease to function (loose connection hopefully) and found out that only one of the keys actually operates the ignition, despite them both operating the central locking!? New blade on order for that! Winner!
