Greetings, Earthlings.

Hi everybody! I've just bought a TD5 against all advice from well-meaning & knowledgeable friends and guess what? I'm loving it & should have had one years ago. Had a couple of problems that have been sorted by the dealer without any argument or fuss. (Meon Valley Garage, Wickham) It's not the best example around, but everything works so i'll keep it for a while and upgrade to a newer model next year.
I'm enjoying the forum, just reading the 'advice' offered & getting a feel for the Disco thing, which brings me to the point whereby i need some advice on the interchangability of bits - namely the rear bumper. Mine is a '99 model & i've come across a bumper from a 2001/2002 model with moulded & raised corners. What are the chances of it fitting, albeit maybe having to change the side trims?

Nowt wrong with a td5 mate, if you have any probs its likely to be the air suspension if it got it or the multitude of electronics (compared to a 300tdi).
Welcome to the site....Bit of advice tho, don't get upset by northerners, we ain't all bad, not even nathen really
You'll get plenty of excellent advice and plenty of stick but its all meant ( well most of it) in good humour.
