goosed?

lock on drivers door has a plastic type mechanical washer? on the back of the lock? a small piece has decided to break off so now i cannot lock the door automaticly no problem there as i would have to go through passenger door. The problem i have is the immobiliser now will not let me start the vehicle,i do not have the vehicle code so that squashes that route, anybody out there can help get the imobiliser deactivated so i can then use the vehicle until i can sort out the lock?????please. 1994 TDI 300
