I'll start with my apology for yet another tyre pressure thread!

Thing is, i've searched and read many threads but few relate specifically to the Series Landy's and many seem to be about personal preference.

I've got four fairly new Goodyear D90's 7.50 x R16's on. The fronts were up at 36psi and the rears at 32. Shes feels a bit skittish on corners and I'm not sure of this is the tyres (not particularly great road tyres I know) or just the pressures.

I've dropped the pressures on the front to 33psi for the time being and left the rears at 30. They do seem to bulge a bit at the front since dropping the pressures but this may well not be an issue. I've yet to drive her to see what it feels like.

Has anyone any experience of these tyres or similar on a swb series?

I should also add that she's almost always unladen in terms of weight in the back.

I used to run my Michelin XCL 7.50's @ 28 psi all around, seemed fine.

My 9.00 XL's are at 20 psi.

Thanks chaps. On most vehicles tyre pressure is fairly difinitive - perhaps tweeking a couple of PSI for personal preference. Landy's require a 'Heath Robinson' approach!
