I joined this site a few months ago but I'm only now getting around to introducing myself.
52 years old. A born and bred Londoner now living in Norfolk (no incestuous jokes please).
I bought a 1999, P38, 2.5 TD in June of this year. My first Range Rover. It came fully loaded and is a beauty to drive. In August the radiator split after the viscous fan seized. Luckily this was covered by the warranty agreement.
After the work was carried out I renewed the glow plugs because it was a bit lazy starting. I have now discovered that air is getting into the fuel line and is still causing sporadic starting problems. There is also a slight diesel leak. Back to the garage I fear.
Thank heavens I took out that warranty !
Anyway, apart from a few little niggles the car's a good'n. It's had the coil spring conversion which causes the 16" wheels to look a little lost in the arches. When funds permit I shall probably change to 18".
Well that's it for now. I'm really not interesting enough to reveal anything more, but I shall update if I think of anything relevant.
