My 110 gets between 300 -400 miles per fill depending on what I'm at, but it has a 75 liter tank

I just did a round trip to Penrith today on the M6 a total of 202 miles in my latest adition, a 1997 110 CSW and filled it up on return. I got 34mpg... outstanding! Less than 6 gallon. It should be noted I am an old fart and kept to an average of around 60mph and drove with a gentle right foot. If you rag it you will get fook all mpg.... I get a tad more out of my 1994 90. No computers, just listen to the engine and you can feel the cruising speed the engine likes...... may the force be with you:D

During the snow in January, I'd just filled up with jungle juice when I had a call to a woman with kids in the car who had lost control of her vehicle on ice and was now wedged across the road on a steep hill and around a blind bend. She refused to get out of her vehicle and take her kids to the safety and warmth of the pub 1/4 mile away. She was 35 miles away from my location. I had my foot flat to the floor the whole way there. It's the only time I've ever driven my landy with my foot glued to the floor. I thought I'd see how bad the fuel economy was so after I'd sorted her out I nipped into the garage just around the corner. I put just under 6 litres of fuel in and had travelled 40 miles. by my rekoning that's 30mpg. The stupid thing is that due to my tyres and the kit I carry in the back of my landy I usually only get an average of 25mpg. Sometimes a lead foot can be better.:p

I think the guy who started this thread is getting about 20mpg :confused: 60 litre tank about 12 gallon? 222 miles out of a tank? Something aint right. I averaged 27 town driving (unladen 90) so our figures seem about right and yours is a td5.... he has a problem or his adding up aint right

18mpg.:eek::eek::eek:

I'm pretty sure Buckshot's getting 300 miles to a tank in his td5 90. which equates to about 25mpg.

At 18mpg there is definately a problem. with that much difference in mileage I'd be looking for a leak in the first instance. Might be worth checking the pressure regulator on the back of the engine. Also the fuel filter and it's housing.

Well this is why i put this thread up i replaced the pressure regulator recently and from there it has just been one problem after the other. I really filled the tank to satisfy my own curiosity so back to the garage for her again..£££££££££££££££££££

I live in the Alpes at the mo, my TD5 with ski rack on top gets about 20mpg, alot of running around the village and cold starts. When im at home, i get 32mpg.

Prob just depends on conditions, where u are driving etc.

Is it leaking diesel? i just replaced my Fuel Reg Valve, as mine was leaking, and was doing about 15mpg. Much better again now!
