May I welcome you all to have to put up with my witterings, though I prefer reading other witterings than writing my own, but I have to start somewhere! 
I am the lucky owner of a 1997 Discovery TDi, but we are having a minor dispute at the moment. I am having intermittent trouble with the instrument panel, meaning that the Tacho sometimes works, the Speedo sometimes works, the fuel gauge sometimes works, etc.
I have had the panel out to see if I could see anything obvious, but no loose or worn wiring visible. Has anyone else had this sort of problem, maybe I am looking in the wrong area, or maybe it's the circuitry at the back of the panel? Any help gratefully received!
