Freelander 1 Good/bad news

As you may remember, I bought two freelander K series and put one engine into the other.

Well I have left the car for a month, not started once, full of coolant and returned with an empty bottle of coolant and a footwell full of water! The inside of the windscreen is wet and all the seats are slightly damp and moldy. maybe the original engine didn't have a blown HG after all. Obviously needs a new heater matrix.

I'm guessing its not a hard job to sort?
 
Dash out job I'm afraid.
It's not a difficult job. Just labour intensive, as lots of stripping back is required.

That's not bad a s I can do it myself and I have a month off work now. might be a good opportunity to add some extra loom for spots and fit the face-lift centre dash in.

Yes. Wise move.
Also it's worth making sure all the harnesses are correctly routed and protected with foam. This will help eliminate rattles and squeaks. ;)
