thanks you guys for the info on the swivel housing job got them sorted no problem .next job up is ditching the scruffy looking hard top and going canvas what and where do i get the gear .Is it a major task i read some other threads and it sounds fun. 1975 III series SWB i would prefer the full canvas is there anything ielse i need to know .

its feckin expensive 
thought it might be !!! it just has to be done though .The hard top has more holes than gandis flip flop. The previous owner had flashing lights ,a radio,speakers and enough aerials to contact the nasa space center.plus a hideous snot green is appearing where the cream paint is starting to flake.where would you recommend for the bits needed.

Your canvas will set you back about £220 (thats not an ill fitting Paddocks one buy the way!!) and if you can find the stick set second hand then fine as these are expensive new. The other alternative is to look for a stick set from an ex military series LWB Landy as these can be altered quite easily at no real cost.
